We’re proud to support the new season of Beyond Blue’s award winning podcast series. Not Alone is a podcast where everyday Australians talk about their mental health journey to help you with yours.

On average, nine Australians die every day by suicide. Seven are men. Behind every number, there are many stories.

Brad McEwen grew up in a small regional town in the 1980s.A time when men didn’t talk about feelings. In the space of two years, Brad lost his brother and father to suicide. He didn’t see either coming.

For too long, talking about mental health has been a no-go zone between mates. It’s an attitude that Brad has long dedicated himself to changing.

This is an episode about suicide, stigma and starting conversations. You can listen on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts or click here.

We are very excited to announce that Rexel Australia’s inaugural Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was endorsed on Thursday 1st April by Reconciliation Australia and is now available on their website and by clicking here.

Our RAP was developed by our Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group and formalises our commitment to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and non-Indigenous Australians. It includes practical actions that will drive our contribution to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which we operate.

A key aspect of our first RAP is to ensure we are an inclusive and welcoming organisation for all people, including for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. This includes recognising and educating our people on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and in exploring opportunities for us to engage with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and provide employment and business opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the communities in which we operate.

The recent fluctuations in the Australian dollar and rising costs associated with freight and lead times, has led to an unprecedented number of price increases coming from many of our major suppliers. We continue to work with these suppliers in negotiating the best outcomes for our customers and to keep these increases to a minimum.

We wish to advise electrical conduit is increasing on average by 7.5% in November.

This increase is being passed on by all major suppliers and is being driven by higher resin costs, a weaker Australian dollar and increased shipping costs affecting the importation on raw material.
