Completion of Rexel sale of its Rockwell Automation related business to NHP
Rexel Australia has completed the sale by Rexel Industrial Automation (RIA) of its Rockwell Automation related business assets to NHP Electrical Engineering Products Pty Ltd (NHP).
What you need to do now?
If you have undelivered orders for Rockwell Automation and Prosoft products and services
ACTION REQUIRED
1. You need to cancel those line items in your open purchase order with RIA.
2. You need to open an account and raise a new purchase order for those items with NHP. Refer to NHP FAQs for details.
The underlying contract between you and RIA for those products and services has been novated to NHP to continue performance. By placing an order for those products and services with NHP you agree to novation of that underlying contract on and from 30 April 2018.
If you have undelivered orders for other brand purchases from RIA
NO ACTION REQUIRED

NHP becomes the sole authorised Rockwell Automation distributor from today
NHP is a full service and dedicated industrial business and this acquisition allows them to continue development in this market. With this acquisition NHP becomes the sole authorised distributor of Rockwell Automation products throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
Rexel remains focussed on the ED market and technical specialty areas
Rexel remains focussed on continuing its growth in the traditional Electrical Distribution (ED) market and developing its business across a number of specialty areas with a range of technical offerings.
In light of this focus, Rexel has agreed to a supply agreement with NHP for Rockwell Automation products, enabling Rexel to service its Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) customers through Rexel owned wholesale branches.
RIA team moves to NHP
Most RIA staff in NSW and SEQ will transition to the NHP business, meaning you will continue to be supported by the same experienced team.

Over the coming month, representatives from each of NHP and Rexel’s Electrical Division will be in touch with you about your future automation and electrical supply needs.
